Hey guys I like lasers and i want to know what sort of things can help stop a diode braking.
In your laser lighter rog you said yur putting "way too much power" through than you're meant to, so you have to keep it cool.
If i want to make a portable high powered DPSS, should i look for a laser diode that can take more power / use more cooling / use more than one diode
pics of my ideas will com soon... | |

Heatsinks, correct input voltage and sensible duty cycle will help your DPSS laser last longer.
Combining beams is not really an option for a hand held.
