Im interested in the batteries you used in your flip top laser lighter for another laser prodject of mine, due to their size. but i seem to be having a bit of trouble finding them, where might i be able to buy these? You also mentioned their short life, about how long might i expect them to last?

The batteries are easy to find on ebay, I found that they need replacement after just a couple of days when I was showing the lighter off to all and sundry, this is not a very practical build just  something to "wow" people.  While answering this I picked up the lighter from the shelf for the first time in months and made my skin smoke but I cannot be sure when I last replaced the batteries.

I am not sure that fully answers your question but I am afraid it is the best I can do.
